SINCE 1992

Bernina, a family-owned company led by the Hrkac family, has been successfully operating in the import and distribution of fresh fruits and vegetables for over three decades.

1992.

Hrkac family started the company in Široki Brijeg.

2007.

In 2007, the Berny brand was launched with around 30 products introduced to the market.

2012.

Purchase of the highly modern dry roasting machine.

2014.

New machine – first in Bosnia and Herzegovina with DOYPACK zip-lock packaging.

2016.

HACCAP Certificate. ISO Certificate.

2017.

The TOCO brand was created, representing premium bananas from Ecuador.

2020.

IFS product quality and safety standard implemented.

2022.

New machine from a renowned German manufacturer. Capacity: 150 bags per minute.

2024.

Berny product packaging redesign and lineup extension.
